Therefore, CDC will not enforce the Order. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time. In addition, effective immediately, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will not enforce its mask-related Security Directives.

Statement on Russia-Ukraine Conflict (as of 08MAR22)
Our hearts go out to those impacted by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. AFC Vacations does not operate in the affected areas at this time. All of our European itineraries are scheduled to operate as planned. We continue to monitor the situation very closely as the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our highest priority.
AFC Vacations Coronavirus Update (as of 28FEB22)
We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely with the safety and security of our guests and staff always our top priority.
Operations for domestic & most international itineraries resumed in 2021, and tour programs are currently operating as scheduled. Travelers affected by suspended past tour departures were offered to reschedule their trip to a later date or offered travel credit toward another AFC itinerary. We are in constant contact with suppliers, including airlines and ground operators, to evaluate the situation as it evolves, and will provide updates should any new travel restrictions impact a scheduled future tour departure.
Vaccination Requirement for Domestic Travel (United States Tours)
As announced on January 6, 2022, for the safety of our guests and passengers, AFC Vacations has implemented new on tour requirements. All passengers traveling with AFC within the United States must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. Passengers will be asked to show the Tour Manager the following when joining their tour:
• Proof of Vaccination against COVID-19. Proof must include the passenger’s name & final dose given at least 14 days before the tour departure date. Proof can be a photocopy or electronic vaccination record document issued by either: (a) the health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e. U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card); or (b) the participant’s medical provider that administered the vaccination, or (c) approved electronic certification from your county, state or health provider.
Vaccination Requirement for International Travel (International Tours including Canada & European River Cruises)
All passengers traveling with AFC Vacations to any country outside of the US regardless of destination or point of origin must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. International destinations have introduced vaccination requirements for indoor experiences like restaurants, attractions, museums, theaters, etc. Even though the entry requirements for that destination may not require vaccination, vaccination will be required to travel on all international tours in 2022. At this time, a negative/not detected test result for COVID-19 administered in advance of returning to the United States is also required.
Depending upon your destination, there may be other and additional country-specific and/or airline requirements for testing prior to travel. Guests should monitor these requirements as well. AFC will continue to review and update our requirements as Domestic & International restrictions are updated.

Cancellation & Rebooking Policies
AFC Revised Cancellation & Rebooking Policies
We share our travelers concerns about upcoming travel. As such, we have created revised rebooking and cancellation policies to provide flexibility on most programs to rebook when you can look forward to your trip without concern for your health and safety. Other than airline assessed fees, you may apply the full value of what you have paid toward Future Travel until 76 days prior to departure. Airline fees are based on your specific ticket, and typically fully non-refundable. When you rebook, we will also work with your ticketed airline to attempt to secure Air Credit. While not guaranteed, if successful we will apply this value as an Air Credit toward Future Travel (Air Credit limitations & expiration dates apply and vary based on individual ticket and airline policies). Please note, the Travel Protection Plan and most travel protection policies typically do not consider an event of this nature as a covered event. Revised Cancellation and Rebooking Policies are not retroactive and do not apply to previously canceled/amended bookings. All re-bookings and cancellations are processed based on the policy in effect at the time the request to cancel/change a booking is received by AFC. See below for specific destination and product line exclusions.
AFC Land Tours not applicable to Passion Play 2022 or other Programs involving overnight Cruises.

AFC Air Department Update – Airline Check In
Airlines are doing their utmost to ensure a safe flying experience. One of these measures is a Health Questionnaire with a few brief and simple medical declarations at time of check in. The personal nature of these questions inhibit AFC from answering the questions on your behalf. This makes us unable to perform the check-in procedure that we have done for many years. However, now in your documents we will provide a copy of your Airline E-ticket with the Flight Booking Reference (Airline Confirmation Number) that will enable you to check in online or at the airport directly with the carrier.
