Arrive in Rome, meet your Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy a Roman Feast Welcome Dinner with Wine and Entertainment.
Day 3 - Thursday, 11/5/2026  - Breakfast
Rome
Today enjoy a Rome City Tour, the ‘Eternal City’ is the capital and largest city in Italy. Visit the Colosseum, then see the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, and the Pantheon. Later see St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, the papal enclave within the city of Rome. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.
Day 4 - Friday, 11/6/2026  - Breakfast - Dinner
Assisi / To Tuscany
Travel north into the Umbrian countryside to the beautiful hilltop town of Assisi. During your Assisi Walking Tour visit both the upper and lower parts of the great Basilica of St. Francis. Everything here is in some way associated with St. Francis, who was born here in 1182. Later arrive in the Tuscan resort and spa town of Montecatini Terme for a four night stay.
Day 5 - Saturday, 11/7/2026  - Breakfast - Lunch
Pisa & Lucca / Pasta Class
Visit Lucca and explore the Old Town filled with quaint shops and Gothic palaces. Next, enjoy a Pasta Cooking Class Lunch & Wine Tasting at a Tuscan Farmhouse.  The chef discusses the class and recipe, and the restaurant staff will assist with your aprons to let the cooking fun begin.  Later enjoy lunch along with a wine tasting to learn about and sample a selection of local wines. Then travel through the lush countryside with views of vineyards to one of the most famous cities in Italy, Pisa. Walk into the Piazza Dei Miracoli to see the Duomo, the historic Baptistry and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, an amazing sight to see. Later return to your Montecatini Terme hotel for an evening at your own pace.
Day 6 - Sunday, 11/8/2026  - Breakfast
Florence
Take a train ride into Florence for your Florence Walking Tour. Visit the Academy Gallery to see Michelangelo’s original Statue of David, a truly awesome sight. Then view the Cathedral to see Giotto’s Bell Tower and Baptistry with its impressive ‘Gates of Paradise’. Also see the open air museum of Piazza Della Signoria and Santa Croce, housing the tombs of Michelangelo and Galileo. The insightful Walking Tour also features a stroll across the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge, lined with shops. Later explore this beautiful city on your own. Return to Montecatini Terme for an evening at leisure.

Siena & San Gimignano
Travel to Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Enjoy a Walking Tour as you stroll the medieval streets to the dramatic Campo, scene of the annual Palio horse race. Also see the town’s famous black and white striped cathedral. Then, travel to the famous hilltop town of San Gimignano. The town is one of the most picturesque of Italy’s perfectly preserved medieval towns, built in the 12th c. Stroll through the quaint streets and visit the beautiful Piazza della Cisterna. Later visit a local Tuscan Farmhouse and enjoy dinner featuring typical Tuscan dishes paired with local wine.
Day 8 - Tuesday, 11/10/2026  - Breakfast - Dinner
Verona / To Venice Area
Depart this morning and stop in Verona, site of Romeo & Juliet’s fateful story. On your Walking Tour, visit Juliet’s House and see the famous balcony. Also see the Verona Arena, a Roman amphitheatre, built in 30 AD. Later, arrive in Venice Mestre for a two night stay and an included dinner.
Day 9 - Wednesday, 11/11/2026  - Breakfast - Dinner

Board a train and then a boat to Venice Island and meet your local guide in St. Marks Square. Enjoy a Venice Walking Tour of St Mark’s Square. Admire the Campanile (brick bell tower), see the Bridge of Sighs, and entrance is included into the incredible Doges Palace, built in 1340. Next, enjoy an iconic Gondola Ride as you sit back, relax and glide gracefully through the picturesque canals. The afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own.
