Visit an Amish Farm & House to learn about their faith, culture, distinctive dress and way of life. Enjoy a traditional Amish Family Style Dinner where the great food just keeps coming. Travel to Gettysburg to check into your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 3 - Tuesday, 10/13/2026 - Breakfast - Dinner Gettysburg
Visit the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center and learn about the National Park’s efforts to preserve the battlefield. Join a local guide who will bring to life the events at Gettysburg that turned the tide of the Civil War. The battlefield served as the backdrop for Abraham Lincoln’s call for “a new birth of freedom” in his famed Gettysburg Address. Enjoy dinner this evening.

Day 4 - Wednesday, 10/14/2026 - Breakfast Shenandoah National Park
This morning journey through the beautiful rolling hills of Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy the natural serenity as you drive along Skyline Drive, where the Blue Ridge Mountains stretch endlessly into the horizon, offering peaceful contrast to its stirring history. Later arrive in Charlottesville for an overnight stay with the evening at leisure to enjoy dinner on your own.

Day 5 - Thursday, 10/15/2026 - Breakfast - Dinner Monticello / Richmond
Visit Monticello and explore this neoclassical Italian-style estate where Thomas Jefferson once lived. Stop in Virginia’s capital of Richmond and visit St John’s Church, the very spot where George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were inspired by Patrick Henry’s fiery “Give me liberty or give me death” speech. Day 7 - Saturday, 10/17/2026 - Breakfast - Dinner Washington D.C.
After breakfast, visit Arlington National Cemetery, America’s shrine to valor and sacrifice. Board the tram to see the John F. The day is free to relax or explore Washington D.C. on your own. Perhaps spend the day exploring and learning at the world-famous Smithsonian Institution Museums. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner this evening followed by a D.C. Twilight Illumination Tour of famous monuments. See the Capitol, the White House, the Jefferson Memorial, the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial, the Kennedy Center and more. This is always a major highlight on any visit to Washington D.C.
