Step into the heart of the American story on a richly immersive journey through the Historic East — where centuries-old towns, legendary battlefields, and stately homes trace the nation’s path from colonial beginnings to a global republic. Follow in the footsteps of patriots and presidents. From hallowed halls to quiet landscapes, from revolutionary sparks to civil reckoning, this unforgettable journey through America’s Historic East honors the legacy of a nation — and the people whose courage and conviction continue to shape its future.

Fly to Philadelphia

Arrive in Philadelphia which in Greek translates to ‘the city of brotherly love’. Meet your Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. The evening is at leisure.

Today, enjoy a Philadelphia City Tour to see the Most Historic Square Mile in America. See Independence Hall, where the US Constitution was debated and adopted & the setting for the 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence. Later, visit the Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia’s Market since 1893. This afternoon step back in time as you travel into Pennsylvania Amish Country. Visit an Amish Farm & House to learn about their faith, culture, distinctive dress and way of life. Enjoy a traditional Amish Family Style Dinner where the great food just keeps coming. Visit the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center and learn about the National Park’s efforts to preserve the battlefield. Join a local guide who will bring to life the events at Gettysburg that turned the tide of the Civil War. The battlefield served as the backdrop for Abraham Lincoln’s call for “a new birth of freedom” in his famed Gettysburg Address. Enjoy dinner this evening.

Shenandoah National Park
This morning journey through the beautiful rolling hills of Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy the natural serenity as you drive along Skyline Drive, where the Blue Ridge Mountains stretch endlessly into the horizon, offering peaceful contrast to its stirring history. Later arrive in Charlottesville for an overnight stay with the evening at leisure to enjoy dinner on your own.
Day 5 - Thursday, 9/24/2026  - Breakfast - Dinner
Monticello / Richmond
Visit Monticello and explore this neoclassical Italian-style estate where Thomas Jefferson once lived. Stop in Virginia’s capital of Richmond and visit St John’s Church, the very spot where George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were inspired by Patrick Henry’s fiery “Give me liberty or give me death” speech. Later arrive in Williamsburg, founded in 1638 as Middle Plantation. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay and enjoy dinner this evening.

Step back in time and explore Colonial Williamsburg, once Britain’s largest colony in the New World. See historical reenactors and artisans populate the streets and buildings, bringing 1770 to life. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own. Next, drive to Alexandria, Virginia to visit Mt. Vernon Estate and Gardens, President George Washington’s beautiful estate overlooking the Potomac River. Later, arrive in Washington D.C., check into your hotel, and unpack for a three-night stay.
