Day 1 - Sunday, 10/12/2025 - Fly to Amsterdam
Home Pick-up to the airport. Overnight flight to Amsterdam.

Day 2 - Monday, 10/13/2025 - Arrive in Europe
Arrive in the Netherlands and meet your Tour Manager. Visit the famous village of Zaanse Schans featuring windmills, wooden shoes, and historic buildings. Check into your Amsterdam hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Tuesday, 10/14/2025 - Volendam / Amsterdam / Ship                                    
Enjoy a Volendam & Cheese Tasting Tour.  Visit beautiful Volendam, an old fishing village built on the shore of the former Zuiderzee.  Walk through the old village and see the famous houses which are built very close together. Enjoy a Dutch cheese tasting and learn about the cheese making process. Later, enjoy an Amsterdam City Tour & Canal Cruise featuring views of beautiful homes through the intricate canal system. Then board the Amadeus Star for your 7 night cruise. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner tonight onboard.

Day 4 - Wednesday, 10/15/2025 - Cruising                                 
Cruise to Cologne, or embark on the optional, where you will stop in the charming fishing village of Volendam and the equally picturesque town of Edam. Renowned for its cheeses, this is the perfect spot for a cheese tasting.

Day 5 - Thursday, 10/16/2025 - Cologne
Cruise the waterways this morning, and arrive in Middelburg, capital of the province of Zeeland.  Time at leisure, or an optional will be available to Delta Works, a storm surge barrier project implemented after the 1953 flood. The optional also visits the lovely, picturesque town of Veere. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 6 - Friday, 10/17/2025 - Cochem
Cochem is a charming town on the Moselle River, surrounded by vineyards. Enjoy a Cochem Walking Tour featuring the picturesque old town with half-timbered houses, a historic market square, and a baroque town hall. Enjoy a Wine Tasting at a local winery including the region’s famous Riesling. Then visit either the Reichsburg or the Eltz Castle, both majestic castles offer stunning views.

Day 7 - Saturday, 10/18/2025 - Koblenz / Rüdesheim               
Arrive in Koblenz and enjoy a Koblenz Walking Tour of this charming town situated at the confluence of the Rhine & Moselle Rivers. Today your ship cruises through the Rhine River Gorge, a UNESCO Heritage Site and the most stunningly beautiful stretch of the river with hillsides dotted with fairy-tale castles, historic towns and vineyards. Enjoy a stroll through Rüdesheim and explore the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns and restaurants on your own or maybe take an optional Rüdesheim Wine Tasting Tour.

Day 8 - Sunday, 10/19/2025 - Mannheim / Speyer    
Before breakfast, your vessel docks in the bustling town of Mannheim. Consider an optional excursion to nearby Heidelberg to visit the red-walled castle with beautiful views of the Neckar Valley. This afternoon arrive in Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest cities, known for its cathedral, numerous churches and the 13th c. Altpörtel (“Old Gate”). Explore the city during your Speyer Walking Tour.

Day 9 - Monday, 10/20/2025 - Strasbourg
Capital city of the Alsace region in northeastern France, Strasbourg is situated on the Rhine at the German border. Enjoy a Strasbourg City Tour with Canal Boat Cruise. Start with a walk through the lovely, historic old town and see the famous cathedral. During your boat cruise discover the famous quarter, “Petite France”. This former mill and tanner district still maintains its medieval charm with its famous half-timbered houses. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 10 - Tuesday, 10/21/2025 - Fly Home or Lucerne Optional Extension  
Transfer to the airport and fly home, or continue on the optional extension.

If you chose the extension, enjoy a Basel City Tour enroute to scenic Lucerne. - Breakfast

Day 11 - Wednesday, 10/22/2025 - Lucerne Extension             
Today enjoy a Lucerne Walking Tour with the Chapel Bridge and Old Town. The afternoon is at leisure. - Breakfast

Day 12 - Thursday, 10/23/2025 - Fly Home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Note: Excursions require moderate walking with some stair climbing possible.

After boarding, unpack once.  All staterooms are larger than traditional river cruise cabins & offer excellent river views.  The Mozart Deck features 12 Suites with Walk Out Balconies.  The other 19 Staterooms on the Mozart Deck & 33 Staterooms on the Strauss Deck feature innovative  panoramic Drop-Down Windows.  The 18 Staterooms on the Haydn Deck have a fixed window.  All staterooms are fully equipped with comfortable & modern furnishings including flat screen TV & large private bathrooms with shower.

Staterooms feature 2 twin beds that can be separated or put together, flat screen TV, private bath with shower, hair dryer, closet, phone, desk, chair, & safe. Mozart & Strauss Decks feature Drop Down Panoramic Window with 188 sq. ft. of floor space. Haydn Deck Staterooms have a fixed window with 172 sq ft floor space.

Suite - 284 sq ft with Balcony
Suites are on the Mozart Deck and have panoramic windows with exterior Walk Out Balcony, two twin beds that can be separated or put together, private sitting area, flat screen TV, mini-bar, private bath with shower, hair dryer, phone, closet, desk, chair, safe & offer 284 square feet of floor space.
