Day 1 - Wednesday, 12/4/2024 - Fly to Albuquerque
Arrive in Albuquerque, founded in 1706, and meet your Tour Manager. Travel to Santa Fe (altitude 7,200’), the upscale resort and artist community with Spanish-Pueblo roots and check into your hotel for a four night stay. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. Santa Fe is famous for its holiday season decorations featuring a Southwestern flair. The Plaza is the holiday hub featuring luminarias (or farolitos) and other colorful seasonal displays.

Day 2 - Thursday, 12/5/2024 - Santa Fe
Enjoy a wonderful Santa Fe City Tour including details about the history, culture and unique architecture of this artists’ mecca. See the Plaza, the Palace of the Governors, a Santa Fe landmark built in 1610, and visit Loretto Chapel. Also visit The Shop-A Christmas Store, located near the Plaza and one of the country’s oldest year-round Christmas stores. The store is well known for its inventory of holiday lights especially electric Luminarias and Chile Peppers. Enjoy the rest of the day and evening at your own pace in historic Santa Fe. Maybe visit one of the many museums, art galleries, and shops, or relax at your hotel.

Day 3 - Friday, 12/6/2024 - Albuquerque
the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center depicting the history and culture of New Mexico’s 19 Native American pueblos. Stop in historic Old Town, giving you the opportunity to stroll the historic adobe buildings that house over 150 shops, galleries and restaurants. Also see the icon of Old Town, the San Felipe de Neri Church. Old Town Albuquerque is wonderfully decorated during the holiday season. Later return to Santa Fe for an evening at your own pace.

Day 4 - Saturday, 12/7/2024 - Taos
Travel north via the “High Road to Taos” passing through ancient villages founded in the 1700’s. Stop in the Spanish village of Chimayo (altitude 6,100’) to visit El Santuario, revered by pilgrims for the healing power of dirt found inside the chapel. Arrive in Taos (altitude 7,000’), the historic home of the Pueblo Indians that sits atop a plateau between the Rio Grande and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Visit the Taos Pueblo, the only living Native American community designated both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a National Historic Landmark. The multi-storied adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years. Enjoy a brief Taos City Tour and learn about this fascinating city rich in culture and scenery. Enjoy time and shopping in the Taos Plaza, also well known for its traditional holiday decorations. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant in the Santa Fe area.

Today travel to Albuquerque for your flight home. Return home with wonderful memories of your Santa Fe Holiday tour.
