California clients enjoy breakfast in Ft. Lauderdale, before transferring to the ship. All clients board the ms Veendam for 10 nights. Tonight, enjoy our Private Welcome Cocktail Party prior to dinner on board the ship - choose from 4 different restaurants.
|Day 3||Saturday, 11/10/2018 - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas |
Half Moon Cay is a tiny private island known for the long, crescent-shaped beach. Luxury cabanas dot the beachfront, which gives way to trail-lined country rich in birdlife. Half Moon Lagoon Aqua Park has water slides and playgrounds. Stingray Cove, a lagoon enclosure, is home to tame stingrays.

Enjoy a wonderful day at sea aboard your 1,400 passenger ship. See a cooking demo at America’s Test Kitchen, tour the bridge or ship’s kitchen, take a computer workshop, or relax in the Greenhouse Spa. Enjoy fun and games with your tour manager and join AFC for a special included lunch at the upscale Pinnacle Grill. Tonight, enjoy another great live show onboard the ship.

Grand Cayman is blessed with clean turquoise beaches, duty free shopping, and fantastic snorkeling. Choose from 11 optional shore tours like Atlantis submarine, dolphin encounter, turtle center, stingray city, or shipwreck museum.
|Day 6||Tuesday, 11/13/2018 - Cienfuegos, Cuba |
“The Pearl of the South,” Cienfuegos is located on Cuba’s southern coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s the best existing example of 19th century Spanish enlightenment urban planning - a pedestrian friendly downtown full of local shops and restaurants, built around a central Plaza de Armas. Explore on your own, or take an optional walking tour with a private musical concert.
|Day 7||Wednesday, 11/14/2018 - Fun Day at Sea |
Another fun-filled day cruising the crystal blue Caribbean waters. Join your AFC tour manager for more fun, games and special events. Enjoy a dance lesson, bingo, gambling in the casino, or visit the Crow’s Nest Bar, with its 180 degree view.
|Day 8||Thursday, 11/15/2018 - Havana, Cuba |
Havana is Cuba’s capital city. Spanish colonial architecture in 16th century Old Havana includes the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, a fort and maritime museum. The 1920’s National Capitol Building is an iconic landmark, as is the baroque Cathedral de San Cristóbal and Plaza Vieja in Old Havana. AFC has PRE-PAID your $75 Cuba Visa Permit, so you can choose from the ship’s 7 optional shore excursions (5 half day and 2 full day). Cuba is unforgettable.

Enjoy another full day at sea with lots of activities.
|Day 10||Saturday, 11/17/2018 - Cozumel, Mexico |
A mostly undeveloped island, Cozumel is famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, and dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.
