Wednesday, 10/10/2018 - Fly to Washington D.C.
Meet your tour manager at the Dulles airport. Transfer to your hotel for the next 4 nights.
Day 2
Thursday, 10/11/2018 - D.C. Sights / U.S. Capitol
Join our local guide for a morning tour of the Presidential history in our capital city.  Stop at the White House Visitor's Center to learn about our executive mansion. See the Octagon House, built for President Madison after the British burned down the White House in 1814. Learn the unusual history of the Woodrow Wilson House. See Blair House where President Truman lived while the White House was being renovated. Tour President Lincoln’s Cottage, where for 3 years during the Civil War, he and his family resided from June to November. Next tour our impressive US Capitol Building where Congress meets. Then enjoy stops at the Lincoln, Jefferson, & FDR Memorials. Tonight, an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Friday, 10/12/2018 - Gettysburg / Eisenhower
Join our local guide for a morning tour of the Presidential history in our capital city.  Stop at the White House Visitor's Center to learn about our executive mansion. Saturday, 10/13/2018 - Annapolis / Baltimore
Motor east into Maryland and stop in historic   Annapolis. Walk the same streets as the colonists. Visit the Maryland State House and tour through the U.S. Naval Academy. Drive on to Baltimore and enjoy an included lunch on the Inner Harbor.   Then embark on our city tour of Baltimore with a visit to Ft. McHenry, of 1812 "Star Spangled Banner" fame. Return to your hotel for a free evening.

Sunday, 10/14/2018 - Mt. Vernon / Charlottesville
Continue on to Mt. Vernon, the Potomac River estate of George Washington. Tour the plantation house, grounds and visit the Interpretive Center to see amazing artifacts. Then, motor south to historic Charlottesville, home to 3 Virginia Presidents.  Tour Montpelier, home of James & Dolly Madison, set on rolling hills and featuring spectacular autumnal views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant.

Day 6
Monday, 10/15/2018 - Monticello / Ash Lawn-Highland
Tour 2 fantastic presidential homes today. First,  visit Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. Tour the new Smith Gallery filled with fascinating exhibits and see a film about Jefferson, before touring the classical architecture and gardens of his mountaintop home. Enjoy an included lunch at the historic colonial Michie Tavern. Continue on to nearby Ash Lawn-Highland, home of Jefferson's friend and fellow President, James Monroe. Return to your hotel and relax before your Farewell Dinner at a fine local restaurant.

Day 7
Tuesday, 10/16/2018 - Fredericksburg / Fly Home
Depart for Fredericksburg and tour 2 historic attractions: the Rising Sun Tavern & Hugh Mercer Apothecary.  Also learn about the Civil War battle here in 1862. Time for lunch on your own and shopping in Old Town Fredericksburg, before departing for Dulles airport and your return flight home. We hope you have enjoyed this one of a kind tour tracing the story of 10 US Presidents.
