Why purchase a Travel Protection Plan?

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your trip investment, and yourself, while traveling. Travel insurance provides valuable coverage for things like trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical, medical evacuation, lost or delayed baggage…and much more.


OPTIONS OF ENROLLMENT:
We strongly recommend that you cover your entire trip cost. However, this plan allows you to protect as much or as little of your trip cost as you like, with a minimum purchase of $500 worth of trip cancellation/interruption coverage.
 
Option #1 – Full Coverage: For full coverage, including trip cancellation / interruption up to your trip cost, as well as the on-trip coverage, input your full trip cost where asked.
 
Option #2 – On-trip Coverage: If you would like to simply purchase on-trip coverage you can enjoy all the post-departure benefits of the plan + $500 of trip cancellation/interruption coverage for only $36.50 per person.* Simply input $500 when asked for your trip cost.
 
Common problems that may disrupt your scheduled travel plans:
  • What if a family member becomes ill and you must cancel your vacation?
  • What if you are injured or become ill while on your trip and need medical attention?
  • What if you arrive in Europe and your luggage ends up in Africa ?
  • What if you miss a connecting flight and are delayed for a long time?

• Bankruptcy protection means you are eligible to file a claim in the event one of our suppliers, including airlines and cruise lines, stops service.
• Primary medical benefits, means in the event of a medical claim you may file with Travelex first, regardless of other insurance.

HOW TO ENROLL ONLINE
:  Click on the Purchase Now button. You will be asked your state of residency; click “GO”.  The next screen will ask for the dates of travel, number of travelers, age of each traveler, and amount of coverage desired, up to the total trip cost, for each traveler.  Click “GO”, and your travel protection premium price will display on the right side of the screen.  This price is the total premium for all passengers, and it includes the household service fee of $5 as described below*.
